Ronaldinho: I Only Missed Playing with Cristiano Ronaldo, when asked about Messi and Ronaldo

According to Brazilian legend Ronaldinho, his only regret in terms of playing with football greats is not having the opportunity to play alongside Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo.

When Ronaldinho was asked to choose between Lionel Messi, the captain of Argentina, and former Brazilian legend Ronaldo Nazario, the former Barcelona and AC Milan star expressed his desire to play alongside Ronaldo.

In an episode of AB Talks, Ronaldinho was questioned about his preference between Messi and Ronaldo Nazario, both of whom were his former teammates.

Reflecting on the matter, the retired footballer stated: “I have had the privilege of playing with Messi and Ronaldo for a significant period of time. The only player I didn’t have the chance to play with was Cristiano. He’s the one I miss playing with.”

He further added, “Of course, I would choose Messi or Ronaldo. But since I never had the opportunity to play with Cristiano, I’d like to experience that combination and have that on-field connection.”

During his illustrious career, Ronaldinho played for renowned clubs such as Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and AC Milan. He also had the honor of winning the 2002 FIFA World Cup with the Brazilian national team.
