BIOGRAPHY
Pilar Castro Padilla is a Spanish actress, born on October 12, 1970. Her first contact with the world of entertainment was as a dancer on the Spanish Television program Aplauso and her fascination with that world led her to seek a career in it. , as an actress, for which she prepared at the Cristina Rota School. She spent most of the 1990s alternating between short films and television series, such as Colegio Mayor (1996), Calle Nueva (1997) and At Once at Home (1998), whose role as Elisa gave her her first important roles in cinema. Nominated for a Goya award in 2010 for her work in the film Gordos (2009), Pilar has managed to establish herself as an outstanding actress, both in film and television, whose credits include films such as El tiempo de los monsters (2015), Julieta ( 2016), Advantages of traveling by train (2019) and series such as Los Serrano (2004-2007), Olmos y Robles (2015-2016) and Vivir sin permit (2018-2020), among several others. In 2020 she participated in Someone Has to Die , Manolo Caro’s second original series for Netflix.
