FIFA Ranking: Super Eagles finish 2023 in 42nd position

The 2023 FIFA ranking has seen the Super Eagles finishing the year in the 42nd position. This was revealed after the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) released the end-of-the-year men’s ranking on Thursday. The team also maintained its sixth position in Africa, with Morocco, Senegal, Tunisia Algeria, and Egypt leading the top five teams on the continent. Looking ahead, the Super Eagles will be aiming to enhance their rank with a strong performance at the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire next month.
